Welcome to the Lubbock County Young
Lawyers Association
The Lubbock County Young Lawyers Association was created to
promote and encourage the maintenance of the high standards of
knowledge of the law among young members of the legal profession
and the exercise of diligence in the fulfillment of all legal
functions the members of the legal profession are called upon to
perform. The Association and its members strive to enhance and
uphold the general public’s respect for the legal profession and
to develop and maintain cordial relationships between members of
the Bar as a whole.
In general, the LCYLA's activities fall under two broad
categories - projects and services - which benefit members of
the legal profession, the public at large, and students at all
levels. These projects and services include the LCYLA’s annual
golf tournament, which benefits local charities each year.
Involvement in the LCYLA provides the prefect combination of
establishing a network for directed volunteerism and a means to
meet new people and to network with other members of the legal
profession in West Texas and beyond. On behalf of the LCYLA, we
look forward to meeting and working with you and reaping the
rewards that membership and service in the LCYLA will bring.
Please contact us for more information on becoming involved with
the LCYLA.
